Another day of game driving

Here we came across a very large herd of elephants, we watched them for over half an hour, they are really quite an amazing animal. They have great maternal instincts and keep quite a closde eye on the young ones and give then trouble when they deserve it. Over the week we saw mamma`s give babies a cuff with their trunk when they are misbehaving .

Here the herd was crossing the road and this little one was going to cross before mom arrived so the sibblings held her back back wrapping thier trunks around her before mom crossed.






Once mom arrived she was allowed to cross with her






The babies are adorable to watch because at this age they have a hard time controlling thier trunks, they just wave and flop around it is so funny to watch.












The whole herd ended up crossing over to the river, They were having a great time in the water.
