Within the first half hour we came across a male Lion and a Lioness, our guide said Oh this is romance if there are only the two of them, he said lions will mate every 20 minutes or so. so we waited around and sure enough about 15 minutes after we got there they mated, he let out one large roar and they both went back to sleep.
Our Gardi our guide said we were very lucky to see them awake. he said lions will usually sleep for about 20 hours per day
