This is definitely a trip of a life time for Bruce and I, it is something we always talked about, but never thought it would actually happen. We have the pleasure of exploring the beautiful city of Amsterdam for 3 days before leaving for Tanzania Africa for 13 days. We will be spending 1 day in Arusha before embarking on a 12 day private safari. After weaving our way across the Serengeti we will jet off to Paris the City of Romance for 4 lovely days before heading home.

Elephants galore
Hey how do you like our hats, let me tell you they came in handy to protect your neck from sun burn, Some days it got very hot. It also worked well as you could tie them and they did not blow off when you werte standing in the jeep .
Does Bruce look a little nervous, this elephant came right behind the jeep, I was getting very nervous because sometimes they will charge the jeeps.
Here you can see how close she came to the jeep
We were stopped here for at least half an hour, it was an ongoing train of elephants, we calculated that there had to have been at least 80 elephants in this herd. Gardi said it was an unusually large herd, they are usually under 40 or 50.
