When you drive down the busy streets, everywhere you look women are carry their goods on their heads, Selma our guide said they sometimes carry more than 40 lbs.










This is a little market on the side of the road, it went for blocks
This is their main outdoor market, our guides said we could not stop as we would be there for hours, there was literally thousands of people shopping there. It was unbelievable

Arusha is a city of about 500,000 people, it was so conjested and busy that we were tied up in traffic for at least an hour to just go a few miles. Their roads are in such terrible shape it took 20 minutes to go 4 km. The pot holes can almost eat a vehicle. Like Bruce said we will never complain about our roads again.


Well tomorrow morning at 6:30 we fly out to the Serengetti, I can`t wait.
