This is definitely a trip of a life time for Bruce and I, it is something we always talked about, but never thought it would actually happen. We have the pleasure of exploring the beautiful city of Amsterdam for 3 days before leaving for Tanzania Africa for 13 days. We will be spending 1 day in Arusha before embarking on a 12 day private safari. After weaving our way across the Serengeti we will jet off to Paris the City of Romance for 4 lovely days before heading home.

Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara is a beautiful National Park, it is lush and green. We spent a couple hours here on our way to Tarangire National Park where we spent our last two days of safari,
This area stays nice and green because it is fed from underground springs.
This is a Dik Dik on the branch of a Candelabra Tree. There was two of them on the branch, I am still not sure how they made it up there. The Dik Dik's are so darn cute, but they are very shy and very fast. It is hard to get a close up picture of them.. Full grown the stand only about 12" high. They look like babies.
This elephant was scratching his ear and then his back on the tree right beside the road.
